Depending on the circles you are in or the society you're surrounded by CBD Oil AKA Cannabidiol could be viewed with a negative connotation. CBD is a compound that is in the same family as THC - Tetrahydrocannabinol. The biggest difference is that CBD doesn't affect the body and does NOT give you psychoactive effects that you'd experience with THC. CBD is one of the hundreds of compounds found in the HEMP plant.
The purpose of this blog is to provide you with information on the benefits and potential side effects you may experience in utilizing the CBD oil. I personally started taking Cannabidiol about 6 weeks ago. It's helped me in several areas. I was able to get off prescribed Adderall, it also had a dramatic effect on my inflammation around my tennis elbow.
If you Google benefits of CBD Oil you'll see a lot of articles pushing the benefits of it and then you'll see some highlighting the risk around the potential legal implications it could cause. The recent explosion around CBD oil is really coming from a deep-rooted need by all of us to find a better way to take care of ourselves!
Okay, enough of me ranting... let's get to the benefits and potential side effects.
Here are the "MAJOR" side effects of CBD Oil... You may ask why I put major in quotes? I was actually being cheeky... If you weigh out the benefits vs. the side effects, I say this is a very safe alternative. Have you seen some of these pharmaceutical commercials promoting new drugs lately???? It seems the side-effects of that drug seem worse than the conditions they're trying to treat.
1.) Dry mouth
3.) Low blood pressure
The benefits... sit down this may take a while.
2.) Pain Relief
4.) Relieves Nausea
6.) Promotes Cardiovascular Health
8.) Fights against Diabetes
9.) Promotes internal production of CBD
10.) Fights against Acne
11.) Helps with Fibermialga
12.) Combats Depression
13.) Combats Endocrine Disorders
14.) Alzheimer's Disease
There are numerous benefits like the ones listed above that can help combat major battles that you might be fighting. Earlier in the blog I mentioned, I've seen major improvements in my inflammation and ability to concentrate because of the CBD Oil and its anti-inflammatory agents.
Not sure if you knew this but we've got two CBD types of receptors in our body. CB1 is highly concentrated in the brain. CB2 concentration seems to be around the immune system. Both of these receptors help influence our body's own production and consumption of CBD. The higher levels of CBD production help fight against different forms of anxiety-like PTSD, Panic Disorder, Social Disorder and Obsessive-compulsive disorder.
CBD helps combat type 1 diabetes which is generally caused by inflammation of the pancreas, our immune system reaction and war waged on invaders. A lot of the articles will use the term "attack" our organs when they discuss our immunes systems reaction to viruses and autoimmune disorders. The immune system will not attack the body... It will do it's best to wage war and fight off the invaders compromising the target organ. CBD being a major anti-inflammatory will assist our bodies ability to win that war. Acne is another symptom of inflammation of specific glands it lowers the production of sebum. These are just a couple areas we could focus on, as you can see from the list, there are so many benefits we could explore, but well call it a night for now.
Remember the changes we make in our diet are one of the single most important decision we can make combating all of these diseases and conditions. With the right diet and supplement regiment, we can take control of our lives, our health, and our medical care.
